The wonderful grandparents below were my saving grace that day. Eddie had to work and I was blessed with great help! My dad went to the park early that morning and reserved a table us.

After playing his little heart out, we sang happy birthday. Unfortunately, the wind was blowing and the candles would not stay lit... no worries, Carter told me that they were hot anyways :).

Annnnd, at the end of his play fun, he looks like one worn out little guy. Sweet angel!

Porter man... I had the pleasure of playing with him, Will and Carter all afternoon. Is he a cutie or what?!?!
And, don't leave out the adorable big brother, Will. It is hard to keep up with this busy little cutie!
After the party, the Tapps came to our house to grill and spend the night. Will, Carter and Porter had a blast playing outside together and the adults enjoyed catching up. This is how we found Will at 5:00 - he fell asleep during time out :)!!!
But caught his second wind after his nap...
We even had a water gun fight, while Carter went on to bed.
And, Will and Porter took a bath in the "big" bathtub
Sunday morning, we woke up and I let Carter open presents. Thank you all for his wonderful gifts. He racked up on Cars toys, which is his current fave :)!!!

So glad we were able to come celebrate with sweet Carter. I too could suck on that sweet face all day and run my fingers through that beautiful curly hair!
