Orange Beach 2010

Last Wednesday, Eddie and I took our sweet boys to Orange Beach, AL. We had a fabulous time. Our boys did awesome on the drive there and back and we all very much enjoyed the beach. Both sets of our parents and my nephew, Cash, met us when down there. It was definitely nice having extra help and sharing their first vacation with them!

There are lots of pictures below, which is not even close to what was actually snapped :). Enjoy!

The boys helped me pack on Monday and Tuesday. Let's just say I wondered if we would make it through the week after Will's meltdown!

This was the first time my precious boys got to the see the beach. Will could not contain himself; he squealed and was overwhelmed with excitement. Carter was very excited, as well. We will never forget the looks on their faces!

They were not interested in a photo shoot. I was not able to get a picture of their first time on the beach. Eddie and I had our hands full chasing them around!

Papaw and Nana Chittom arrived later that night. Will stuck to his papaw like glue the rest of the trip, for the most part.

Papaw, Mamaw and Cash arrived the next day. Cash and Will admiring the view.

Papaw Chittom walking the boys to the beach. They had to stop at the pools first.

Carter following the leader... trying to catch a seagull!

We have nicknamed our little Cash the Coppertone baby! He had a ball and loved the beach, as well!

The sand was some sort of fun for these three.

Daddy helping Carter and Cash build sandcastles.

One day, when my boys were napping and my mom and Cash went to the pool, I was able to lay on the beach all alone. Let's just say that hour of peace was nice :)!

Then this sweet little guy came down and wanted me to jump waves with him. It was a lot of fun!

One day when it was cloudy and rainy, we headed shopping and went to the Track when it cleared. Will and Cash enjoyed go carts, rides and bumper boats. Will's favorite was the swings. It was fun!

Here are some pictures taken before dinner one night.

All 3 little guys loved the balcony. I always loved them as a child, as well.

Sweet sugar from daddy. I love the hear Carter bug smack at us when he wants a kiss!

My adorable baby boy... he was saying "cheese".

Will the thrill :)

Saturday was our last morning at the beach. It looked pretty nasty out, but we still went out to play
Will following the leader. Notice the difference in skin color... it reminds of me and Amy as kids.

Carter was not far behind. He was taking it all in!

Saturday was also a VERY special day; my mom's birthday :)! We played on the beach, shopped and enjoy great food . We love you so much, Mom... happy birthday to one of the best in the world!

Daddy finally decided to come down and enjoy the fun

Will running from the water. He would run down and when a wave would come he would take off. I was extremely excited that he loved the ocean!

We can't wait to plan our next vacation :)! Have a great week, everyone!

15 months old

Our precious little Carter was 15 months on the 7th. I am amazed at how much he has learned in the past month. People always say that the youngest grows up faster than the first, and I think it is totally true. His vocabulary has increased, he now uses a spoon to eat, he is learning to count and is identifying he body parts like a pro! He is his daddy's biggest fan and adores his big brother MOST of the time :). Here are some pictures.

He was clapping and yelling "Yay" because his daddy was home.

Will taught him how to climb up the slide.

He LOVES to ride Will's tractor... sometimes more than Will!

He is pretty stinkin cute in a hat :).

The picture below is my favorite... the boys expressions are priceless. Love my boys; all 3!

I am currently debating a hair cut (trim); I adore his hair, but am often told that he looks like a girl and his daddy thinks it is time. What do you guys think?

Labor Day weekend fun

We enjoyed a laid back Labor Day weekend with family. The weather was perfect and the boys LOVED playing outside, as usual. Here are a few pictures

Carter working on the bubble mower...
Will swinging with his daddy

He also helped Eddie water the grass, which was so much fun for him. Cute boy!
On Sunday, Eddie pressure washed the back patio (which looks so great btw) and Will and Carter were BIG helpers :). They inspected it before they let their daddy use it.

I let them swim in their pools all weekend, since it will soon be too chilly for them. Will was excited.

I LOVE this shot of Carter. What a babydoll!

They had such a ball in the water.

Summer is not officially over until after our BEACH TRIP :)! We are going in a couple of weeks and let's just say that I CAN'T WAIT. It will be the boy's first trip and our first family vacation.
Have a great week everyone!

Ella's backyard birthday bash

A couple of weekends ago, we went to Ella Pollan's birthday party. They had a HUGE slide, swimming pools, a sandbox and a bouncer. All of the kiddos had a blast and mine had no trouble going to bed that night :). We had a great time celebrating that precious baby girl's birthday!!!

My little Carter bug at the bottom of the slide... the water felt great! I put him on it a couple of times and he loved it. I love his expression!

Will at the bottom of the slide... I know he looks extremely burned, but he was just hot. I never convinced him to go down the slide :(. He very much enjoyed watching the other kids.

The birthday girl... she is adorable.

Carter digging sand with the birthday girl. I love his curls and Ella's sweet bathing suit :)!

This was Will's position for the majority of the party. Maybe next time he will join in on the fun... he is a mess!

Happy birthday, sweet Ella! The cupcakes were yummy.

This little adorable guy is Chase Gapen... he is as sweet as he can be!

Will enjoying a snack with the birthday girl... too bad he took someone else's snack!!! He is a little STINKER!

We can't wait to see what Ashley will do next year :). Thanks so much for including us on Ella's special day. We had so much fun!!!
