Will's Preschool Pictures

Will had his 1st school pictures at the beginning of the month. I am so impressed how well he did for them! They make me realize even more what a little boy he is now and I am so proud of him :).

A sweet visit

Last Sunday, Papaw and Nana made a surprise visit to two little boys... they were so excited :). And Nana never shows up empty handed. She brought them some really cute little frog cakes.


Carter thought had to feel it out before he took his first bite.

Happy birthday, Mammaw!

My momma's birthday is tomorrow, so we had my family over at our house to grill steaks tonight. My boys adore all of their cousins and it was so much fun to spend time with the fam and celebrate the best momma in the world! She is a beautiful woman, inside and out, and my sisters and I are very blessed to have such an amazing role model.

Carter found and bag of pretzels and carried them around, pretty much the whole afternoon. He was nice enough to pass them around to his cousins, when they wanted one.

We tried really hard to get a group picture with Mammaw and the boys, but it didn't work out. So we took individual pictures.

We got a yummy oreo cake for the birthday girl. All of the kiddos LOVED singing happy birthday and most of all - getting sugar highs!

And, Eddie gave Carter an afro... one of his favorite things to do when he needs a haircut.

It was a great night! We love you so much, momma and look forward to many more celebrations!

Blue Angels 2011

This past Saturday, we went to the 2011 Airshow in Millington to see the Blue Angels. The Tapp family came up and stayed with us Friday night and went to the show on Saturday. Porter and the boys had lots of fun playing together. Carter calls him Porter Tapp, which I think is so sweet.

Carter bug before the show. He was a fan for about 5 minutes and then had a major melt down. I spent most of the afternoon walking him around! You never know what kind of experience you will have with this little 2 year old!

I almost had the boys talked into climbing up to get their picture taken, but they decided it wasn't for them!

Although I was walking most of it, the show was awesome.

And, we had 3 sweet little boys to entertain us.

We can't wait for the next show in 2 years! It will be a Chittom family tradition :).

Will's first day of Preschool

Will's first day of preschool was Monday. This has been a very bittersweet experience for me. Although I want him to love it and this is great for him, I have to face the fact that he is a big boy now. I broke down majorly Sunday night and promised myself that if he didn't cry on Monday that I would not either. He walked to the school like it was second nature to him and has been a little champ. He was so excited :).


When I picked him up that afternoon, two of the kiddos in his class told me that they really liked Will :). He told me that he wanted to come back to school "tomorrow" and that it was so much fun. I am very proud of my big boy!

Sweet cousins

The boys have really enjoyed their time playing with cousins lately. Cash and Will are 8 months apart and so are Carter and Brylin. Cash and Brylin were able to come to play with us this past weekend, which was a blast!
