The Collierville Square

Eddie and I took the boys to the Collierville Square this afternoon to get them out of the house and let them see the train. It was a beautiful afternoon and we got some sweet shots of our boys. I loved the scenery so much, we might try and take them back next weekend for a Christmas card photo shoot... we will see :).

Will tried really hard to open the door to the log cabin.
This 5 seconds for this picture may have been the only time that they both of them were still at the same time!

Little Carter bug... he was having a bit of a bad hair day, but I still love his curls and baby face.

Angel...

My handsome little Will... he looks so much older now!
Our sweet boys

It was a great afternoon!

Happy Turkey Day

On Thursday, we headed to Booneville to celebrate Thanksgiving with our wonderful families. The boys had a blast riding 4 wheelers, playing with cousins and being spoiled rotten by grandparents and aunts :). We are so blessed and very thankful for everything that God has given us.

Will and his big cousin, Brandon. He and Jordan gave back rides and shared their Sprite with the boys; they were popular :).

Me, Sissy and Amy... love my sisters!

Will, Brylin, Amy and Carter. My boys LOVE Brylin. He is a darling and extremely sweet baby.

Amy and her sweet boys, Cash and Brylin.
Daddy and Will on the 4 wheeler. Will was loving life. He was still talking to me today about riding 4 wheelers at his papaw's house :). Sweet boy!

Papaw, Nana, and all of their grands. I thought it turned out pretty cute. I bribed my boys with cookies so they would cooperate for the picture. Hey, whatever works, right!?!?

Carter loved his cousin Cammie... she is about 4 months older than him. Sweet babes

I hope that everyone had a wonderful week... work will be tough tomorrow for me :).

A Week of Firsts

Being a mom to a 2 1/2 old and 1 1/2 year old little boys, as you can imagine, gets a little crazy around at times. A couple of weeks ago, I left the boys outside for a split second and when I came back out, well...

Will apparently decided that he didn't need any pants or shoes on anymore.

Running from momma....

Again...

Almost there

You can't get me, Momma :). Next year, I will probably be double teamed with this type of thing.

Annnd, Carter was sick last week and went on a mean streak with his brother. Below is my poor Will's first shiner to prove it! Eddie says it is the first of many for our little guys; momma might not make it :(.

Hey baby, it's cold outside

Did anybody else have sad little babes on Saturday this past weekend due to cold weather? Mine had some major cabin fever. They would live outside if we would let them.

This is Carter gazing outside after we got back from dinner on Saturday night.
So... I let them go outside for a few minutes. They were just a little happy (and perhaps a little scary looking :)).
Eddie put batteries in all of their toys... and they had a blast. The main attraction was Hokey Pokey Elmo on Sunday morning before church. Elmo has been down for the count for quite some time now. We take entertainment where we can find it around our house :).
Will was also VERY excited about the Mickey Mouse plane.
Sunday afternoon was so beautiful, so we played outside until dark!!!

Two little monkeys...

I am going to need to become VERY creative this winter or learn to bundle up and play in the cold!!!

17 months old

Our little angel, Carter, was 17 months old on Sunday, November 7th. I wish that I could freeze time and keep him this age. He is a MESS and will tell you "I mess" :). He pretty much says, or attempts to say, whatever Eddie, Will or I say. His biggest accomplishment this month is walking up the stairs. He can come down them by himself, but prefers Will and I to be with him. He has also come out of his shell... he is my little social butterfly and will try to talk to anyone he meets. A few strangers have been mistaking him for a girl lately, so daddy says we at least need to get his hair trimmed soon... I am trying to work up the nerve.

Here are some pictures after church on Sunday.

Daddy and Carter; look at those beautiful baby blues.

Hi Elmo... I am Carter
Precious angel.
Love him so much.
