Visitors, Outside fun and the exersaucer

The Gapens came to visit us last Sunday... it was so nice to have them over! We had a great afternoon watching the boys and catching up! They are expecting another little boy in February and I can tell you after watching Reed first hand that he is going to be a great big brother... he is so loving and sharing to other kids! Please come back to visit soon!

Reed and Will playing outside... this is the first picture where I have been able to get them both looking at the camera! My child has brownie on his face :)! Aren't they cute stuff?!?!

Will has also hit a little stinker phase... I thought that happened at 2??? He and Braden (his best friend at his babysitter's house) give Mrs. Kathy fits! I am glad to say that Will is normally just an accessory to Braden, but she says he is stubborn -- he must get that from Eddie :)! He is still my angel, it is just different to have fits more frequently now when he doesn't get his way. We try to just ignore him and he eventually gets over it! Hope they pass soon!

Eddie really wants Will to love baseball as much as he did... he recently got a tee ball set. He could really care less about it most of the time, but I know that he, daddy and Carter will have lots of fun practicing one day in the backyard!

Did I mention last post what a big boy I have? He looks so much like Eddie!

Here is an update on my little cutie... he REALLY loves his momma, sometimes wants daddy, still hates tummy time, loves sweet potatoes and applesauce, can almost sit up and LOVES the exercauser. His brother makes it tough sometimes, but he deals!

He also drools... A LOT :)!

Carter, my 4 month old cabbage patch baby and Will, the 18 month "big" boy

Carter Thomas was 4 months old on October 7th... going on 9 months :). He is a little ham! We went to the doctor for shots. He was a little champ; he barely cried during shots and after I picked him up, he never made another fuss. He was a little sore that night, but that is expected. The doctor, nurse and receptionist have nicknamed him the cabbage patch baby... he does kind of look like one! I remember having one as a little girl and now I have a real life one I guess :). I somewhat see what they are talking about!

Carter's 4 month stats:

Weight: 18lbs 8 oz (above 95th percentile - WOW :))
Height: 25 1/2 inches long (90th percentile)

He is a big boy and a pleasure to be around. I am not sure when he is going to roll over; he really dislikes laying down! He, however, will be sitting up soon. He almost can now... he loves to see what is going on! He also loves his brother's exersaucer (great gift from my wonderful friends Erin, Jess, Shae, Jema and Lana before Will was born) and Will is having a hard time letting it go. He is way to big for it, but will not leave poor Carter alone! He is also seriously the most vocal 4 month old I have ever been around... he talks to his mommy all the time. I told Eddie and Will to watch out... we might have a little Stephanie on our hands! He definitely knows he is the baby of the fam and plays the role very well. Here are some pics... enjoy!

Okay... I was not prepared that 18 months would bring me a little boy and take my baby away. Seriously, I feel like Will has matured a ton in just the last month. And he even looks so much older to me now! His daddy is his hero and best friend in the world. He is still momma's little boy, but he doesn't need me as much as he once did (big tear!). I love watching them together though. He loves his little brother... when Carter cries, Will takes him a toy (usually a ball or block) and doesn't understand why it doesn't calm him down (very sweet gesture though)! Will loves his new house and new room.
We got him a new crib that converts to a full bed later and he has adjusted so well. Carter got his old bed. He is obsessed with the stairs in our new house... we have installed a gate and he gets very frustrated that he can't open it!
We went for his 18 month check up today (LAST round of shots until he is FIVE.. WOO HOO). He did pretty well; he is just not a big fan of strangers, especially those who give shots :)!
Here are his stats:
Weight: 28 lbs 4 oz (75th percentile)
Height: 35 inches (90th percentile)
Here are some updated pics: ENJOY!

Please come and visit our new home if you have time... we have plenty of room for guests now! We miss and love everyone!

Chittom Family Updates :)

The last month has been BUSY BUSY BUSY for us. We moved into our new house and believe it or not, it was really bittersweet leaving our little apartment that had been the only home that both of our babies had known. The boys have adjusted amazingly well though; Will was sleeping normally after a week and Carter never missed a beat! The house is great... we love having lots of space; we just need lots of time to get things done around here!

Last weekend, we also got Will's hair cut... or should I say PEELED??? This was his daddy's decision not mine! He is still adorable, of course, but he looks so big and I can't stand it! I want my curls back!!! He has more hair than most adults as it grows, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they come back! Will was 18 months old yesterday; I just can't believe how fast he is growing. He also said his first sentence this week and tries to repeat everything we say lately!

I fed Carter rice cereal and applesauce last week also. He ate it like a pro. He will be 4 months old Wednesday... with that comes shots! Here are some pictures... enjoy!!!

New haircut; What a cute big boy!
Yum yum!
ADORABLE!!!

OUR NEW HOUSE...

Eddie and Will the first night there... Will's cup before bed!

All you need is a little newspaper to entertain one year olds...

Will at 7:00 am on the morning of the move... he was a little confused I think
