Hayden's graduation

Last weekend, we went to watch our nephew, Hayden graduate from high school.  He was 3 when I first met him when I started dating Eddie.  I can't believe he will be at Ole Miss next year.  He has grown into a very handsome and wonderful young man!
Carter was just in it for the Sprite... he must have gone for 10 of these :).

My precious family.  Love them to pieces!

The boys with Papaw and Nana

Papaw and Will having a great conversation.

How sweet is this?!  Will loved climbing trees.

Will loved looking at Hayden's hat.

The Hershfelt family.  Aren't they lovely?!  I can't believe how much these kids have grown!

Papaw, Hayden & Nana.  Their oldest grandson :).

We are so proud of you, Hayden and are thankful we were able to share in your special day.

Mother's Day 2012

I love celebrating all of the wonderful mothers in my life each year and celebrating being one myself.   God has blessed me with two amazing little boys.

It was especially great this year when I received invitations from Will's class to attend 'Tea & Cookies with Mom'.  They sang a song for us, showed us what they had learned this year and presented us with gifts they made.  Will walked around to every child in his class to introduce me... it made my heart melt :).
Me and my little man at his school.
Instead of singing, he posed for the camera:).

Will's cards and coupons that the made for me.  There was a large posterboard that I missed taking a picture of at school.  The teacher asked all of the kids why they loved their moms.  Will's response was that I let him play in his room and that I am his best friend.  Do I have a sweet angel or what?!

When I arrived to drop Carter off at school, this little beauty was sitting on his desk, along with a muffin.  They surprised us with 'Muffins with Mom'.  How precious is this craft?!  It says, 'This little flower is special you see, because it is made from parts of me.  My hands and feet made each flower part to show you I love you with all of my heart.'
One of the sweetest gifts EVER!

I think his teachers might think I have emotional issues.  I teared up with each event.  They are my heart outside of my body and remind me what life is all about.

The night before Mother's Day, Eddie and I loaded up the truck with all of our gifts for our moms and my grandmother. A couple of hours later, Will walked downstairs with a 103 fever and I spent the night taking care of him.  Which led to a morning of snuggling on the couch.  I missed spending time with family, but instead spent the day being a mom like any other, which was great in my book.

My loves on Mother's Day... my cup runneth over little boys!
I hope that all of my wonderful friends and family had a great Mother's Day weekend, as well :).

Will's 4th birthday party!

We celebrated Will's birthday the first weekend in May (an entire month after his actual birthday - poor tax season baby!).  It was rather simple; we had people at our house for some outdoor water fun, grilled hot dogs and had cupcakes.  Will enjoyed himself, which is the most important part of the day, right?!

I can't believe my 'baby Will' is 4.  He is now a little boy.  I can't even explain the transformation that has occured since he turned 4.  He is a loving, smart, not mention extremely handsome little guy and I am so proud of him.  He loves to sing, dance, play any kind of ball, play outside, color and the kid loves playdough (anything dirty, now that I think of it).  He also loves learning new letters and numbers.  He and Carter are best friends, for better or worse - the fight one minute and love each other the next, which we will experience for a while, I know.  It has been another great year with our sweet child and I look forward to the next!!!

Enjoy some pictures from his big day!
The food table... we had some grilled hot dogs not pictured.

Again... enjoying the water on a hot afternoon.

My little Carter bug

Will LOVED the bubble gun... it amazes me how his favorite toys are always the simple ones :).

Sweet little Brylin boo.  I love this sweet boy!

Will showing Cash how to work the bubble gun.  He loved Will's 4 wheeler!  Cash called me the day after Will's party and told me that it was one fun party- sweet kiddo!

Brother fun!  (Which doesn't happen very often these days LOL)!

We had a very fun 'Cars' sprinkler ball.  Reed, Will and Cash jumped in the trampoline while it sprayed them.  It was fun!

Will came over to me to let me know that it as cupcake time.  When everyone started singing to him, he started praying or being shy... one of the two:).  Sweet doll!

This was the only shot that Eddie could get of him blowing out his candle.  Of course, little brother was front and center as well.  Love my sweet birthday boy!

Present time!  Will loved his Transformers mask from Carter.

And his Hulk from Cash and Brylin.

And his Hulk gloves from Reed and Chase.  Thanks... Will and Carter beat Eddie up with these sometimes:).  He loves to color his spiderman coloring book and even shares his playdough with Carter - they love it!
Thanks everyone for sharing his special day.  He had a great time and are so blessed to have such wonderful family & friends.

Happy birthday, Reed!

We went to Reed Gapen's 5th birthday party the last weekend in April.  It was at JUMP and was superhero themed.  The boys 'actually' had a blast there this time.  They both jumped and realized how much fun they could have, if they removed themselves from me :).  Reed is adorable and we had so much fun celebrating.  His sweet momma, Erin, did a great job with his party.

The pictures are in no order whatsoever.  I am adjusting to the new upload for the blog:).

My handsome little boy before we left the house.
Cheese!

Reed opening his gift from us. I think the little superhero is set after his party!

Carter LOVED the dinosour slide:).
As did Will:).

Having a blast!

Thanks for including us at your fun party, Reed :)!
