Thanksgiving 2012

I love Thanksgiving!  It is one of my favorite days of the year.  The weather is always nice and we love seeing our family.  I must also say that it was so great only working 2 days this week and being off with my boys!  I am also reminded, because I forget way too often when life doesn't work how I think it should, that the Lord has blessed me more than I deserve.  Enjoy the pictures from our busy and fun Thanksgiving :).

We started off at the Stennett Thankgiving at Grandmother's house.  I love seeing all of my wonderful family... I think the count is around 40 now :).

My little Carter bug.. he had a ball running back and forth on the storm shelter.
My cousin, BJ and Tasha's children, Kaliegh, Cole, Chloe and Kaden.  I was amazed at their perfect formation when I asked if I could take their picture.  Adorable kiddos!

Not sure what was going on here, but that sure is one tough little dude!
 Daddy and Will
 Bebe and Jordan
 Outdoor fun!
Seriously one of the cutest little boys ever and my favorite picture of the day... I love this sweet smile :)!
These leaves made for a solid hour of fun.
Sophie Hall... seriously one of the cutest little girls ever.  She looks like such a priss pot and played hard like all the boys; love it :).
Next stop... the Downs Thanksgiving at Uncle Robert and Aunt Reba's house.  We were a little late for it, but managed to get some pictures by Santa.  Uncle Robert let Will play in his RV, which made his day!  Will asked him when we were leaving if he would drive him to school in it every day.

Me and my boys at Aunt Reba's house.  I love them to pieces :)

And last, we headed to momma's for the Stennett/Anglin dinner.  The boys LOVE all of the attention that they get from the older kids and they wear them out, which is nice for sleeping and quiet time on the way home :) HA.

Ann and Brylin.. how cute are they?!
The Anglin girls... love these pretty girls!
Carter showing us his sticker :).  Cutest little Rebel!
A very rare occassion, Brylin let me love on him.  He has never taken to me and it turns out, he was using me for Sprite, but I will take it :).  He is so adorable!
Annnd today, I started decorating my house for Christmas, which Will and Carter are so excited about this year!  They loved decorating the tree, but most of all....

They LOVE this box!  Eddie said we should just buy 10 of them for Christmas and be done.  Please look over how dirty they are... we all need M&M's while we decorate, right?!
 Will being silly!

Madagascar animals/Happy birthday Sissy :)!

My Sissy turned 40 on November 10th and she came up to spend the weekend with us.  Might I just add that she looks my age and is such a beautiful woman!  We love her to pieces and are so blessed to have her in our lives :).

Might I also add that on her birthday, Colton and my boys wanted to go to the zoo and that is what we did... she loves her boys.  The weather was perfect and we all had such a blast.  The boys currently love the movie Madagascar 3 and they found all of the characters at the zoo :).

Our arrival... how cute is this photo?!

 Alex, the lion...
We were amazed at how alll of the animals were out and about for the day... we don't normally catch them during our visits.  The boys loved seeing each and every animal!

My beautiful sister and her handsome son, Colton.
Sissy and Carter... she bought him 'red ice' as he calls it!
He wouldn't pose with me, but I took a picture anyways:)
The zoo added a ferris wheel this year and Will actually went up with Sissy and Colton... I am chicken and scared of hights.  Will had no fear and LOVED it!

Gloria, the hippo, stayed under water and we didn't get her picture.  Here is her love, Melmon :).
Sissy and Will... love that red mouth he is sporting!
They were calling Marty, the zebra from Madagascar.

Sissy and Colton; Sissy, we love you. Happy birthday to a personal hero!  You are the best sister, mother, aunt, daughter, and friend that I know!

Theme week at school

It was theme week at Will and Carter's school this past week.  They thought it was fun dressing up every day and it made it a little easier for them to get out of bed and dressed every morning :), especially on Halloween!  Enjoy the pictures below!

Monday was tacky day.  They wore their shirts inside out with rain boots.

Tuesday was hippie day... we didn't participate.  I couldn't really think of anything for them to wear and they didn't understand what hippie day meant anyways :).

Wednesday was their party day and costume day :).  I only got a picture from my phone, so I will show you them at their school carnival!  They had a blast at their parties.

Thursday was pajama and bedhead day.  (Notice we are still holding Halloween buckets... :))

And Friday was team spirit day - Hotty Toddy with the cutest little Rebels ever :).  I didn't get a picture yesterday morning, but took one last night, annnnd yes, Carter still carries around his bucket.  He fills it with all sorts of things around the house.
