Will and Carter REALLY miss...

THEIR DADDY... can you tell?!?!We think that the St. Jude tournament is a wonderful event for a great cause; however, Eddie has been working long, long hours and the boys and I miss him so much... we are ready for June 13th! They both wanted to sit with him upstairs tonight... so sweet!

Thunderbirds 2010

On May 15th, Eddie, Will and I met Papaw, Nana and the Tapps in Columbus, MS to watch the 2010 air show. Eddie grew up watching air shows with his parents, since his dad was in the military, and was so excited to share the experience with Will. It was rather hot that day, but we all had a great time. We ate at Rubens in Columbus afterwords and it was delicious. We had a wonderful day!

Carter bug went to stay with Papaw, Mamaw and Cash; it was a bit much for him at this time. Cash called me several times to tell me not to worry about Carter and that he was taking good care of him :)!

One excited little boy on the way there.
Papaw showing Will the first plane... this is such a sweet picture!
Will LOVED riding on Papaw's shoulders that day... I think that was his favorite part!

Daddy and Will

Will and Porter... these two boys had so much fun together that day!

The Tapps in the helicopter. We tried to get Will to get in, but he wanted no part of it. Porter loved it!
Daddy, Momma and Will

Will loving on his Nana while cooling off under the tent.

Shae and Porter enjoying the show

The Thunderbirds put on one amazing show. I think the big boys (Eddie and Justin) enjoyed it more than the little ones :), but we all had a great time! We can't wait for the next one!

11 Months Old

Our little Carter-bug was 11 months old on May 7th... where has the time gone? He is such a big boy now! He has still not been brave enough to walk across the floor yet, but he walks holding on to things and has some really strong legs. It won't be too much longer!

He has expanded his vocabulary. He now says: momma, da-da (ALL THE TIME), Nona, Nana, O-o's (for cheerios) and hey. He also still loves to clap his hands, make car noises and his newest trick is smacking his lips. He follows his brother everywhere and hangs right in with him.

He is our precious little angel and we enjoy watching him learn! Here are some pictures... ENJOY!

Little monkey!
Getting ready to smack :)!
LOVE HIM! Happy 11 months to our sweet Carter-bug!!!
His birthday falls during Eddie's tournament week, so we don't plan on having his party until a couple of weeks after his birthday.
Have a great week, everyone!

Mother's Day weekend

I could not have asked for a more perfect Mother's Day weekend. I first, have to show off my little guy. I have not uploaded pictures in a while and this is one of the first pictures that I took of him standing alone :).

Eddie had to work last weekend, so we grilled for the Chittoms Saturday night. We enjoyed having them over... the boys had a blast.

Aunt Toni and Will; he loved having her at our house!!!

Nana and Carter having fun. Nana is so good to us; Will and Carter are lucky to have such a sweet Nana who loves them so much!

Again

Uncle Heath and Carter. He nicknamed him the cheesepuff king b/c he stuck an entire cheese puff in his mouth :)!!!

Papaw Chittom and Will making silly sounds

Aunt Toni and Carter

Sunday morning, the boys and I headed to Booneville for church with my family. We ate at my aunt's house afterwords with my grandmother and played at my mom and dad's house that afternoon.

Me and my adorable little guys after church... they were such good boys at church, I might add. I am so thankful to be their momma and thank God for them everyday.

My precious mother and 4 of her 7 grandboys. Carter and Brylin were both napping and Cash was way too busy for a picture! My mom is a wonderful person, mom and mamaw and we would all be lost without her!

Sissy with her boys! I can't believe how big they are! It makes me feel really old...

I had to get one of Cash and Will... they are at their dirt pile, as usual :)!

Will is hiding, but really enjoyed his 4-wheeler ride with Mamaw, Cash and Colton.

Aunt Sissy and Will... he kept saying "hey Sissy" :)!

My Aunt Brenda came to visit that afternoon, as well. She loved on my baby Carter! I think that she and my mom favor. We love her so much, as well!

I tried to get a picture of Carter and Mamaw, but he would not cooperate!

Will loving his mamaw :)!

And on Monday, I got the pleasure of staying home with my sick little Carter man. He has an ear infection and cold. He doesn't let it stop him at all though and he enjoyed being home with momma alone :)!

I hope all of the sweet mothers that read this had a great day on Sunday!!!

Reed Gapen's 3rd birthday party

We went to Reed's 3rd birthday the first weekend in May. It was a John Deere theme, for Chris and Erin's little farmer; he was a sweet little John Deere man :). The kiddos went on a hayride, played outside and enjoyed some wonderful food and cake! Erin is an AWESOME party planner... Eddie has decided that she should plan and host Carter's 1st birthday party coming up soon :)! Let us know what you think, Erin, j/k!!! Thanks so much for including us for Reed's special day... the party was so much fun!!!

I did not get very many pictures because my camera died :(, but I did manage to get a few.

Reed blowing out his candles. His cake was so cute!

All of the kids were so excited about present time, can you tell?

Reed checking out his Iron Man toy

Ashley took the picture below for me... Will played with this bat the entire afternoon. He was pretty shy around the big crowd, but had a wonderful time playing outside.
He loved Reed's slide...
Again...

Ashley and Ella enjoying some cake; beautiful girls :)!
Carter was begging one of the older kids for some cake.
Please :). Erin's precious mother, Lois, kindly fed him some after this picture (and I did, as well) :). She also loved on him and I did not have a camera to take a picture. Babies know sweet grandmothers when they meet them!
Ella was too funny with Carter!
That night we went to Windy City Grill with Nick, Ashley and Ella; it was so good. MY, how times have changed since the last time we all went OUT to dinner together :). The kids had a great time and only got upset a few times. It was a lot of fun with great friends!!! I am so disappointed that my camera was dead, but I will get some pictures next time!!!
