Welcome to the World....

Jackson Guy Taylor :). Justin and Jessica welcomed their bundle of joy, Jackson Guy, on December 14th. He is a little ham and could not be any more precious.

I could just kiss those little cheeks :)!

Jess and her sweet little man on Christmas Eve. She is such a precious momma already. Love love love!

Jess, we are so happy for y'all and I can't wait to get my hands on your little angel again soon :)!

Special Christmas Deliveries

The day after Christmas, Papaw & Nana and Papaw, Mamaw & Cash came to visit us. They brought lots of fun gifts from them and family. Thank you all so much for coming over and making an extra special day for us! And, of course, thank you to all of our aunts/uncles that sent things for us and, most of all, thinking of our sweet boys. I was not able to get a picture of each gift, but the boys love all of them.

Will opening his 1st gift from Papaw and Nana.

Grandmother bought him a really Tractor Trio set. Thanks so much for sending this, Grandmother. We had a lot of fun building, and Will and Carter enjoy re-building it every couple of days :).

Carter woke up from his nap to open gifts. Does anyone love this expression and bedhead as much as I do ?!

Carter loves his new Mack truck/McQueen from Grandmother and his Caterpillar toy from Aunt Lisa :).

Carter snuck Cash's candy. Does he look like a sneaky little stinker or what?!

And, Will was very fond of Cash's baseball fan candy dispenser.

Toni and her family sent the boys some precious Dr. Suess books and some jeans. Will sat and read his book for a few minutes :).

Carter pretty much had this hair all day :). How cute is he in his new Northface?! Thanks, Papaw and Nana!

Papaw and their uncle Robert/aunt Reba gave them some money. I never realized how excited they would be over it :). Carter told Nana he was going to take her to the candy store. How cute are they?

Me and Momma decide to take Will, Carter and Cash outside to ride scooters and bikes. I love the picture below.

We also love Will's new jacket.

Papaw and Nana also bought the boys an art Eazel. They even helped Papaw put it together which was SO MUCH fun to them. They love spelling their name, putting numbers in order and I know they will love their chalk when I get them some :)

Papaw and his little handymen.

Carter's turn.

Precious boys spelling their names!

Thank you for the wonderful visit :). We love all of our new toys!

Christmas Day 2011

Christmas day was a complete 180 from Christmas Eve for me and the boys. Eddie was sick for about half of the day, but was able to get up and enjoy watching the boys for the afternoon/night.

Santa made it to our house :). As you can see, they received a Cars hut, bikes, books/puzzle books and some really fun toys. I wish that I could have recorded them screaming is excitement when they walked down the stairs and saw their gifts; however, it is an amazing memory that I will never forget!

Carter tried out the Cars Hut first.

He was very excited about his football. Santa brought Will a really cool RC Batman Geotrax Cave set. It was a big hit with both of the boys, but especially Will. He loves to take the tracks apart and set them up in different ways. He played with it for hours on Christmas day.

Carter and his Lightning McQueen bike... is he cool stuff or what?!

Will and his Mater bike... he loves it and now we just have to learn how to ride it!

Carter and his firetruck. His favorite feature is shooting darts, of course :).

We love the John Deere combine

Look at this cutie on his scooter :).

Again :)

Back to the Geotrax for a while.

And, they enjoyed playing together in their hut :).

It was such a blessing that they felt so much better on Christmas Day. They were so excited and we had so much fun playing with all of the new toys! Overall, it was a wonderful day!!!

Christmas Eve 2011

Carter woke up with a stomach bug early last week :(. He was a VERY sick little guy. On the 23rd, we really thought that he was better and expected our usual Christmas Eve traditions; however, our Will caught the nasty bug that night, followed by Daddy on Christmas Eve.

On the morning of Christmas Eve, Carter and I loaded up all of the gifts for my side of the family, took them to my mom's house and had lunch. Since we were there, we decided to open gifts with everyone. Carter had a blast being my center of attention, but we really missed Eddie and Will :(. Will fell asleep and slept the whole time we were gone. We brought so many gifts home to him, which perked him up a bit.

Colton, Cash and Carter waiting for gifts.

Cash really loved his boots that Will and Carter bought him. He said he could go hunting with his papaw now :)

Papaw and Mamaw bought Will and Carter scooters for Christmas. Carter looks pretty darn cute in his helmet.

I think we are in a stage where the 2 youngest grandsons should get the same gift. Look at poor Brylin :(.

Papaw, Mamaw and my handsome nephews :).

Sissy helping Carter get ready for a spin on his scooter.

Sweet Jordan pushed Carter around for a while. They are too cute!

The Wilson fam :)... love them!

Cash would not get in a picture, but I was able to get this one of Amy and Brylin.

Will and his presents :). He had some from Mamaw & Papaw, the Wilsons, Lala and her boys and his precious great aunts, Lisa and Wanda sent him gifts. He is one loved little boy!

It was definitely all about the Spiderman scooter for him. He loves it!

When I was cleaning the kitchen, I heard a noise from the other room I walked to find this... when I asked Carter what he was doing, he told me that he was wrapping gifts to give to "Family". That is what I told the boys throughout this month when I wrapped, so that they knew not to open gifts :). Sweet angel.

And this was my sick little bit for the night :(. He and I snuggled, read books and I even slept in his bed in anticipation of Santa.

Next year, Momma and Daddy will keep Will and Carter out of school/daycare for the last two weeks in December which will hopefully help prevent a sick year!!!

Santa Visit 2011

On December 22nd, we went to visit Santa. The boys were so excited in line and could not wait to ask Santa for presents this year. When our turn came, Carter put a tight grip on me and said I changed my mind, Momma - poor guy. I guess I am a mean momma for putting him in his lap anyways, but I want a picture every year. Will gave Santa a hug and asked for a bike.

Santa and the Chittom boys - 2011 :).

Carter was very happy that he received a sucker out of the deal.

And so was Will :).

Chittom Family Christmas

On December 17th, we had the Downs Christmas at Papaw and Nana's house. It was a very fun afternoon with family. The boys had a blast playing. I realized how much fun we were going to have this year with them. They talk so much about Santa and what they want him to bring to them on Christmas morning.

My sweet little Carter bug all ready to go... don't you just love those baby blues :)!

They had their very own table and enjoyed being the center of attention!

Our sweet family.

Eddie and Toni :).

Nana has collected Disney characters for many, many years. This year, she decided to give them to her grandchildren. Will and Carter picked a Mickey Mouse and Pluto each. They have taken really good care of them.

Having lots of fun!

Hayden, Eddie and Hayes (our nephews). It is hard to believe that Hayden is graduating this year... I started dating Eddie when Hayden was Will's age!

Nana, Papaw and their grands.

Again. They are precious and are very adored by all of these kiddos!

You can't help but love these two!

Will going to see Papaw and Nana's Christmas lights outside. They were beautiful!

Snacking with Daddy.

Sweet family!

Uncle Heath and Carter... best buddies!

Thanks Papaw and Nana for a wonderful day!
