We can't wait...

To meet baby Griffin Elijah. Last weekend, we hosted a shower for Emily at my mom's house. She got so many great things for Baby "Griff", the food was great and it was so nice to catch up with everyone.

Em and Amy... Em, you look great! We can't wait to meet your little angel!!!
"BB" and Lola Grace... she is so stinkin cute

Ms. Teri, Lee and her beautiful daughter, Angela and Jess.
Jema, LG and Candice. Candice welcomed baby Hayes this past Thursday... Congratulations!
My mom and Kelly Grace Greenway. April, mother very much enjoyed squeezing on a baby girl. She has all boys!
Cash helping Emily with her gifts. She received some adorable things.

April and Kelly Grace... so sweet! We all loved holding your baby girl, April!
LG doing Little Rascals for us :)

Nana and Papaw Chittom kept my little monkeys and brought them over when it was done. Carter loved on his Sissy.
The boys had SO much fun going to church with Nana and Papaw. They went to church, ate at McDonalds and went to Wal Mart. They bought Carter these cute Camo house shoes :).

And Will these cowboy boots... that he sleeps with! He wants to be Woody from Toy Story :). He also ended up with the crupe :(, but is feeling much better now! Oh, and he also popped his face on a table when I was trying to take away a balloon :(... tough boy!
It was a great weekend and I enjoyed seeing everyone! Em, you will love being a mother and we wish you all the blessings in the world!!!

Lately

I have been a blog slacker! Momma has been working a lot and Daddy has been taking such great care of our precious little boys. They have loved riding in their "daddy's" truck every morning and afternoon and are just crazy about him. Thank you for all that you do for us!
I thought this picture was sweet. I have no idea what they were looking at, but it must have been interesting.

Our BIG boy who talks our ear off now. He calls us "Mom and Dad" and loves learning about new things, especially shapes. He can now identify square and cross, but circle is still his fave :).
Our sweet litte Carter bug. One night last week when I took him to bed, I prayed with him and he said "Thank God, AMEN"! To say that I was proud is the biggest understatement ever!

We love our sweet little boys!

When Momma is away...

Will gets to dress up and play....

Since I have been working crazy hours, Eddie has had major bonding time with our boys. One night when I came home, this was Will's get-up. (don't judge for the unmade bed :)).

At least they will make for good slide show pictures one day!

Snow Day 2011

Since I was a very small child, I cannot remember getting 5 inches of snow. It was amazing watching it fall on Sunday night and it was just beautiful this morning. I had to work today, but my boss was kind enough to close the office at 4, so that we could get home safely and I took advantage of playing in the snow with the boys. They LOVED it... I hate that we did not get out earlier and that we could have played longer, but Eddie and I were like kids again and loved making the sweet memories with Will and Carter.

Eddie let me take his truck to work today, so that I did not get stuck. I let the boys walk out and look and the snow... Carter just stood there and admired it :).
Annnnd, when we got home, Will COULD NOT WAIT to get outside. Can you tell :)?
He thought it would be a good idea to take his tractor for a spin.
It got stuck eventually, but he enjoyed it while it lasted :).
Carter has been a little under the weather, but he LOVED the snow.
Will and Daddy... Will said, no mo' CHEESE momma (he has a little trouble with his r's :)).
I thought this looked really sweet in black and white. Sweet, sweet brothers having SO MUCH FUN!
Carter was clapping the snow in his gloves.
I thought this was another sweet brother shot...
And that this was a cool action shot... daddy just taught Will how to make and throw a snow ball.
Carter took his gloves off and just wanted to eat the snow. I remember eating snow when I was little...
Snow ball ready to fire :).
As much as I dislike the cold, I LOVED this great afternoon. I had to bribe them with Suckers to get them in the house, but they were freezing!

19 months old

Another month has passed by all too quickly! Carter was19 months old this past Friday... and what a smart, adorable and "tude" filled little guy he is right now. He can say anything... and I mean anything we say. Some of his favorite phrases are, "Hey momma (or whoever he is talking to), it's me", "Thank you food, Amen", "Come on, Will", "I go night-night", "I want snack", and "No, no, no" - this one is definitely my least favorite, and he says it a lot now.

Here are a few pictures:

He doesn't like a booster seat anymore... he wants to sit at the table like a big boy. I let him eat his breakfast there last Sunday and he was one happy little guy. He still likes to snuggle with his momma after a nap or when he wakes up in the morning and I eat it up. This day, I was fortunate enough to have two snuggly little boys :).

He loves to be daddy's little helper... Papaw Chittom and Daddy were putting together a workbench for our garage and Carter wanted to be out there so bad. Nana put this chair, so he could get a closer look :).
