Easter 2010

We had such a wonderful Easter! We heard a wonderful message at Collierville Baptist Church, took advantage of the beautiful weather, hunted Easter eggs and Eddie grilled a wonderful meal that night. It was a perfect day spent with precious family!!! Enjoy the pictures... I got a little carried away!

The Easter bunny left the kiddos some fun things in their baskets. Carter's basket is on the left and Will's basket is on the right.

Will was excited... after all of the toys he got last week and the basket full of goodies, he is a little spoiled :).
Look what the Easter bunny brought this proud little boy!

It was all about the "peeps" for our little Carter :).
Will was trying to open a toy for Carter.
Daddy and his little boys after church. I have such HANDSOME boys!

My little love bugs... I could not be more proud of my boys!

Ta-da... Seriously, does it get any cuter than this :)???

Will was being a silly goose... he is such a little stinker!
I held one arm for Carter for pictures and his big brother held the other. They were ADORABLE in their matching outfits.

Love it!
Their laughs are the cutest that I have ever heard! I could just eat them up!
Again...
Will was ready to hunt eggs

Momma helped Carter pick up a few :). He was worn and took a long nap after this picture!
Have a great week everyone!!!

Happy Birthday, Will!

We celebrated Will's 2nd birthday today! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by and can only imagine how they will continue to do so. Eddie and I are so proud that God chose us to be his parents! He is a precious little boy and he had such a fun day today.

This was Will one year ago today... :)!

My sister and I flew out to Houston this week and Eddie's parents came in town to help him with the boys. Will was glued to his papaw Chittom! Thanks Aunt Toni for his crocs; he loves them :)!

Aunt Sissy also brought him an early birthday present, as well! Thanks Sissy for the Cars table... he thinks he is a big boy now!!!

Nana and Papaw got him a cool pop-up tent! Thanks Nana and Papaw... he loves it!

It was a beautiful day today, so Eddie and I took the boys to the zoo. They look so amazed by the sea lions, huh???

Will's favorite animals were the grizzly and polar bears. The grizzly bears were wrestling and Will thought it was hilarious. He also loved watching the polar bears swim in the water and could not understand why he could not swim, as well :). See below..

What do you mean I need to move for other people?!?! Not a happy camper that we had to move...

I thought this was too sweet... he was watching the panda bear.

After dinner, we lit a cupcake and sang happy birthday to our little man. This was his expression during our singing. There is not a picture of lit candles, b/c the child was terrified! I hope he is less frightened for his party!

Looking at his new jump-o-lene from Daddy, Momma and Carter. It was a hit.

He hugged all of us after we gave him his present. It was so sweet... he is such a loving little boy. He is also really becoming a sweet big brother lately. He loves and helps Carter a lot more than previously. And, yes, his socks are so so dirty... he is all boy!
I rescued Carter and he wanted to get him down to play some more!

Daddy and the birthday boy!!! When Eddie was Will's age, they look almost identical.

We love you from the bottom of our hearts, Will. You are a precious and adorable little boy... Happy Birthday!!!

Mrs. Kathy, his babysitter, had him a party last Thursday. I will try to get those pictures posted soon. This week has been overwhelming, so I did not get invitations out for his party, but intend to this next week. We are looking forward to celebrating with our wonderful friends and family on April 17th!

DIRT

The boys and I headed to Booneville this weekend, while daddy stayed back and got lots of things done at our house. Saturday was a beautiful day and Will had so much fun playing outside with his cousin, Cash. Cash taught Will how to dig in dirt... let's just say he enjoyed it and was a very dirty little boy!

The boys loved riding the 4-wheeler with my dad (they call him papaw). He found a good solution... so cute!
Will got a little frustrated with his shovel at first and decided it was easier to use his hands to move the dirt to the bucket. He eventually got the hang of it!

Sweet cousins!

Cash said, Cheese, while Will was way too busy for a picture!

He enjoyed dumping the buckets of dirt into Cash's John Deere tractor wagon!

When they filled the wagon up, Cash went to dump it in the woods :). We are getting Will one of these for his birthday... we hope he loves it! He doesn't have as much space to ride it compared to my parent's house, so we will see!
This is my nephew, Brylin and Amy. He is 2 months old now and is such a good and precious baby boy.

When we got home, Will and Carter were thrilled to see their daddy. Will, in fact, got in the bed with him Saturday night. So sweet...
I feel like I have neglected my little Carter; however, it was too windy to get him out much on Saturday. He is too precious... here he is with his daddy this afternoon.... what a little lovebug :)!
Will's 2nd birthday is SATURDAY... BIG SIGH! He is getting more independent by the day and we could not be more proud of our little guy. I am sending out invitations this week for his party, which is planned for April 17th.

Broken camera :(

A certain little stinker dropped his mommy's camera this weekend... I am lost without it! We have been using our old one; however, our cord to upload pictures is at my mom's house. I hope they get mine fixed before Easter weekend... it will be a busy and wonderful one for us!

Will is slowly letting go of his PACI :).... YES. Eddie and I went on a date Saturday night and my sister said he didn't want it when he went to bed and he has only had it a couple of times since!!!
We took advantage of the beautiful weather on Friday and Saturday... the kiddo loves to play outside, can you tell??? He had so much fun playing with Brandon, Jordan and Colton this weekend. Even though he jerked my camera down on the ground shortly after this picture, he is still my sweet boy (I should not have left it it out!!!).
Carter is my little angel... I took him for his 9 month appointment on Monday and he never ever whimpered! Here are his 9 month stats:
25lbs 1 oz; 30 inches long... 90th percentile!

Carter and daddy... love them!

9 months old and a great weekend

Carter is 9 months old today :)! He has the sweetest and most laid back personality! He is going to the doctor on March 15th... I will give updates then! Below are some updated pictures.

Today, we went to visit the Gapens after church. The Pollans were over there, as well, and we had a great time playing and catching up.. I only wish I had taken more pictures! Below is a picture of Carter and Chase. Chase was 1 month old on the 4th. These are some precious boys!
Ashley, you had them mesmerized!!!

Chase, staring at his sweet momma! He is a doll and is such a good baby! Thanks for letting me love on you little man!

Eddie and the boys after church... Carter was way too busy for the picture.

Me and my handsome boys... notice Will's handprints all over my door :) !

On Saturday, Will was outside all day long. Eddie opened our bedroom window so that Carter could watch him. I think the picture below is too sweet.

Will played peek-a-boo with Carter and he belly laughed.... it was precious!

Again...
He watched every move he made!

My precious little baby is almost crawling... he can scoot on his belly and his bottom.
He loves sleeping in the bed with his momma and daddy!!! He is a sweet little cuddler for sure :)!
